CarbonBuilt’s technology enables concrete producers to make no-

compromise, ultra-low carbon concrete by replacing cement with low-cost, low-carbon industrial byproducts and dilute carbon dioxide.

Initially developed at UCLA’s Institute for Carbon Management with support from the U.S. Department of Energy, this NRG COSIA XPRIZE-winning technology was piloted at the National Carbon Capture Center in Alabama in 2021.
